Our facility is built to meet strict pharmaceutical standards, supported by a robust quality management system which forms part of our integrated management system. We work to the highest standards applying our extensive cGMP experience and capabilities and incorporate sound scientific risk management principles into all our systems that enable us to deliver high quality, marketable finished product to our customers.

Comprehensive policies, standard operating procedures and working instructions are in place and forms part of the Quality Management System.

Bassani Medical strives to meet requirements of global Regulatory Authorities to assist with marketing authorisation approvals (MAA) for our clients formulating plant-derived cannabis-based medicines.

We are SAHPRA (South African Health Products Regulatory Authority) licensed to cultivate, process and export medical cannabis.

Bassani Medical is certified by the Control Union Medical Cannabis Standard (CUMCS), the global leading certification standard for medical cannabis certification. The goal of the standard is to ensure the best quality and consistency in the production of the product.

We are in the process of obtaining cGMP accreditation complying with EU-regulations.
